\nYoung Businessmen Confederation of Turkey (TUGIK) members and OSTIM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Y\u00fclek visited the TRNC’s domestic and national car G\u00dcNSEL at its home.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Members of the Young Businessmen Confederation of Turkey (TUGIK) visited G\u00dcNSEL as part of their contacts in the TRNC. During the visit accompanied by OST\u0130M Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Y\u00fclek, G\u00dcNSEL’s first model B9 was tested. After the test drive, TUGIK members visited G\u00dcNSEL’s production facilities on the Near East University Campus and received detailed information about the vehicle’s features and mass production preparations.<\/p>\n

After the visit, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Near East Enterprises Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel, TUGIK High Advisory Council President Erhan \u00d6zmen and OSTIM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Y\u00fclek made statements.<\/p>\n

\nProf. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel: \u201cG\u00dcNSEL is an initiative that takes its inspiration, energy and dynamism from the youth.\u201d<\/strong>
\nReminding that G\u00dcNSEL celebrated the 5th anniversary of its first launch on October 9, 2016, Near East University Board of Trustees and G\u00dcNSEL Chairman of the Board of Executives Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel said, \u201cG\u00dcNSEL, of which team has an average age of only 28, is an initiative that takes its inspiration, energy and dynamism from the youth. In this respect, it is a pleasure for us to host the esteemed members of the Young Businessmen Confederation of Turkey.\u201d Stating that they are continuing their mass production studies, Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnsel said, “I would like to thank the esteemed members of TUGIK, who shared their support and interest with us during this period, for their visit.”<\/p>\n

\nErhan \u00d6zmen: \u201cI witnessed an idealistic family turn the dream of producing the car of the future into reality in a country that has been left so alone by the world.\u201d<\/strong>
\nMaking a statement after his visit to G\u00dcNSEL, Young Businessmen Confederation of Turkey High Advisory Council President Erhan \u00d6zmen said that he enjoyed the performance of the TRNC’s domestic car G\u00dcNSEL B9 very much and said: \u201cI witnessed an idealistic family turn the dream of producing the car of the future into reality in a country that has been left so alone by the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Saying that they came to the TRNC for new projects, \u00d6zmen said, \u201cThe TRNC is breaking its own shell and turning its entrepreneurial spirit into an opportunity. When we look at Singapore today, as a small island country, it competes with the world’s major economies. I’ve been asking myself for two days: Why shouldn’t Northern Cyprus be a Singapore?”<\/p>\n

Stating that G\u00dcNSEL will play a very important role in the TRNC economy, Erhan \u00d6zmen said, \u201cI congratulate the Near East Family who contributed to this success. The G\u00fcnsel Family, instead of going to other countries and making their investments under different conditions, stays in their country and writes a great story, despite all the difficulties. I am looking forward to see what this story will bring to Northern Cyprus in the future.”<\/p>\n
