<\/div>\nDeveloped in the TRNC, G\u00dcNSEL set off with its first model B9 to attend the “London EV Show”, the electric car fair to be held in London on 14-16 December!<\/strong><\/p>\n
G\u00dcNSEL, a 100% electric car developed in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), is preparing to introduce its first model, the B9, to the world. G\u00dcNSEL B9, which will appear at the electric car fair “London EV Show” to be held in London on 14-16 December, is on the road!<\/p>\n
The first launch of G\u00dcNSEL’s first model B9, which was developed in the TRNC with the initiative of the Near East Enterprises, was held in Kyrenia, TRNC on February 20, 2020. G\u00dcNSEL B9, which went out of Cyprus for the first time by participating in the MUSIAD EXPO 2020 Fair held in Istanbul on 18-21 November 2020, will go to the world showcase in London on 14-16 December for the London EV Show.<\/p>\n
250 designers, engineers and technicians have been continuing to work to make G\u00dcNSEL ready for mass production. The second phase of construction of G\u00dcNSEL’s production facilities, which completed the first phase of investment of its R&D center and production facilities in 2019, is about to be completed in the area where the Near East University campus is located in Nicosia. G\u00dcNSEL, which has carried out more than 2,000 test drives in the last year with its heart red, island blue, beach yellow, sky blue, and stone gray prototypes, aims to start mass production at the end of 2022 and reach an annual production capacity of 40 thousand cars by 2027.<\/p>\n

\nStating that they are excited for G\u00dcNSEL, of which mass production works are continuing full speed and will go to the world showcase at the London EV Show, the Board of Trustees of the Near East Enterprises and G\u00dcNSEL Executive Board, Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel said, “As we introduce our G\u00dcNSEL to the world, we will also proudly wave the flag of our Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus around the world.” Emphasizing that G\u00dcNSEL is an environment-friendly automobile with its production processes and factory area, aside from being an electric car, Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel said, \u201cG\u00dcNSEL, which we have developed with the scientific and R&D power of the Near East University, is the result of our responsibility to our country, the world and the society.\u201d Stating that he will accompany the G\u00dcNSEL team, which will participate in the London EV Show, Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel said, “I invite Turks living in Europe, especially in London, to the Business Design Center where the fair will be held to share this pride.”
