The 49th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation was celebrated with ceremonies held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. As part of the ceremonies attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, an official parade was held on Faz\u0131l K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck Boulevard. In the official parade held in the area equipped with Turkey and TRNC flags, colorful prototypes of B9, the first model of the country’s national and domestic car G\u00dcNSEL, of which design and engineering studies were completed in the TRNC, also took part in the ceremonial cortege that saluted the state protocol and the public.<\/p>\n

President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan and President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar made the opening speech of the ceremony, which took place with great participation. The ceremony, which was held with the participation of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, was attended by the TRNC state protocol, as well as Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of National Defense Ya\u015far G\u00fcler, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Ersoy and MHP President Devlet Bah\u00e7eli and many politicians.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was concluded with the official parade in honor of 20 July Peace and Freedom Day. G\u00dcNSEL, the national and domestic car of the TRNC, also saluted the public at the official parade. During the pass of G\u00dcNSEL, “G\u00dcNSEL, the domestic automobile of our country, which is the product of the knowledge, experience and scientific production of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” was announced.<\/p>\n

In his speech, President Ersin Tatar said that projects based on advanced technology such as G\u00dcNSEL, the domestic car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, show the way the country has come since the Cyprus Peace Operation.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel: \u201cProducing G\u00dcNSEL in our country with the support of Turkey will be one of the strongest steps to be taken towards the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus by the whole world.\u201d<\/strong>
\nMaking a statement regarding the participation of G\u00dcNSEL’s first model B9 in the parade with its prototypes at the 20 July Peace and Freedom Day ceremony, the Near East Enterprises Chairman of the Board of Trustees and G\u00dcNSEL Chairman of the Executive Board Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel said, “Today, with the presence of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, we are very happy to celebrate the 49th anniversary of July 20, 1974, when Turkey announced to the whole world that the existence of the Turkish Cypriots in these lands will continue forever.”<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel said, \u201cIt is an indescribable honor for our G\u00dcNSEL, which we developed as the most meaningful symbol of what the Turkish Cypriots can do, to take part in the official parade and salute our Turkey, our state and our people.\u201d Reminding that they continue their preparations for mass production in order to bring G\u00dcNSEL together with the world roads, Prof. Dr. G\u00fcnsel said, “Producing G\u00dcNSEL in our country with the support of Turkey will be one of the strongest steps to be taken in terms of the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus by the whole world.” <\/p>\n
