Former President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Mustafa \u015eentop, continues his contacts in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. As part of his contacts, Prof. Dr. \u015eentop visited TRNC’s local, national and 100 percent electric car G\u00dcNSEL, with his accompanying delegation and took a test drive and received information about the mass production efforts.<\/p>\n

Accompanied by the President of the TRNC National Assembly Zorlu T\u00f6re, Prof. Dr. Mustafa \u015eentop visitied G\u00dcNSEL Production Facilities, where welcomed by Near East Enterprises Board of Trustees and G\u00dcNSEL Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel and Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer \u015eanl\u0131da\u011f.<\/p>\n

During the visit, Prof. also Dr. Mustafa \u015eentop had a test drive with G\u00dcNSEL’s first model, B9. During the test drive, \u015eentop was accompanied by \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel. After the test drive, Prof. Dr. \u015eentop made inspections at G\u00dcNSEL Production Facilities. Prof. Dr. Mustafa \u015eentop also received information about the development process, technical specifications and mass production facilities of the TRNC’s domestic car. <\/p>\n

After vitisiting G\u00dcNSEL, the delegation walked to Dr. Suat G\u00fcnsel Mosque which is on the Near East Campus and performed Friday Prayer.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Mustafa \u015eentop: \u201cIt is a great pleasure that these studies, which represent not only the technology of today but also the technology of the future, are being carried out in the TRNC.\u201d<\/strong>
\nMaking a statement after the examinations he carried out in G\u00dcNSEL, the former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Mustafa \u015eentop said that he had information about G\u00dcNSEL during his previous visits to the TRNC. \u201cI had the chance to see G\u00dcNSEL in my previous visits. During this visit, we also had the opportunity to examine G\u00dcNSEL facilities and take a test drive of the vehicle.” Reminding that Turkey has taken decisive steps in this field under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, Prof. Dr. \u015eentop said, \u201cIt is a great pleasure that these studies, which represent not only the technology of today but also the technology of the future, are being carried out in the TRNC. I was very pleased to see the work done here. I congratulate you.” Prof. Dr. \u015eentop once again congratulated those who contributed, saying that he tested the acceleration and dynamism of G\u00dcNSEL B9 during the test drive and liked it very much.<\/p>\n

\nNear East Enterprises Board of Trustees and G\u00dcNSEL Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00dcNSEL, expressing his happiness with former Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Prof. Dr. Mustafa \u015eentop’s visit, said, “G\u00dcNSEL has a great potential as a Turkish brand representing our Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey in the world automotive industry. We continue to work to realize this potential with the support of our homeland Turkey, by completing mass production studies recently. We were very happy to have the opportunity to convey the works carried out on the campus of Near East University to Prof. Dr. Mustafa \u015eentop on site. I would like to thank him for his kind visits.”<\/p>\n
