<\/div>\nThe domestic car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, G\u00dcNSEL, met with the Motherland at MUSIAD EXPO 2020. G\u00dcNSEL was welcomed with great interest and enthusiasm by the press, business, political world and the public. B9, the first model of G\u00dcNSEL, got full marks from the test drives performed outside the fairground. The concept design of the second model J9 was also on exhibition. After the fair, which was completed on November 21, G\u00dcNSEL team and vehicles returned to TRNC.<\/p>\n
Preparing for mass production in the last quarter of 2021, TRNC’s domestic and national automobile G\u00dcNSEL met with the Motherland at the International Economy, Finance and Trade Summit MUSIAD EXPO 2020, organized by MUSIAD every two years. G\u00dcNSEL was one of the most special and attracted guests of M\u00dcS\u0130AD EXPO 2020, which was visited by approximately 15 thousand people.<\/p>\n
The fair, which is the first event that G\u00dcNSEL participated outside of the TRNC, lasted for four days. 3 prototypes produced in yellow, blue and red colors symbolizing the soil, sky and flag of TRNC were exhibited at the fair where B9, the first model of G\u00dcNSEL, which was produced by more than 100 Turkish engineers and designers with 1.2 million hours of labor within the body of Near East University, was introduced. In addition, G\u00dcNSEL introduced the design concept of its second model J9 to automobile enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

The design concept of the J9, which was also designed as 100% electric, was also presented to the visitors at MUSIAD Expo 2020.<\/p>\n Electric cars are increasing their weight in the world automotive market every year. In 2018, the number of electric cars sold in the world was 2 million. Electric car sales, which are expected to reach 10 million by 2025, are expected to reach 28 million by 2030 and 56 million by 2040. Electric cars will take over 57 percent of the automotive market by 2040.
\nAgreements with over 800 suppliers from 28 countries have been signed for the production of G\u00dcNSEL B9. Thus, the global economy of the TRNC was recognized by countries other than Turkey, which have provided a significant contribution to become a part of G\u00dcNSEL. Approximately 400 of the suppliers with which G\u00dcNSEL signed an agreement are operating in Turkey. Its suppliers also visited the G\u00dcNSEL booth at MUSIAD EXPO 2020 and examined the final version of the vehicle. G\u00dcNSEL has also become the center of attention of many sector representatives from the automotive world.<\/p>\n
\nIn the M\u00dcS\u0130AD EXPO 2020, which was opened on November 18, test drives of G\u00dcNSEL were also carried out in the test drive area created outside the fairground. More than 100 users had the opportunity to test G\u00dcNSEL B9 during the four-day test drives. \nG\u00dcNSEL B9 is a 100 percent electric car. The vehicle, which can travel 350 kilometers on a single charge, was produced by combining 10 thousand 936 parts in total. The engine of the vehicle has a power of 140 kW. The speed limit of G\u00dcNSEL B9, which can reach 100 km \/ h in 8 seconds, was electronically limited to 170 km \/ h. The battery of G\u00dcNSEL B9 can be charged in just 30 minutes with high-speed charging. In the case of fast charging, this time is 4 hours. The number of employees of G\u00dcNSEL, where more than 100 engineers and designers spent 1.2 million hours in the development process, reached 166. This number, which will increase rapidly with the start of mass production, will rise to over a thousand by 2025.<\/p>\n
