\nTurkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Minister of Education and Culture Olgun Amcao\u011flu tested TRNC’s domestic car G\u00dcNSEL in the test drive area of G\u00dcNSEL Production Facilities located on the Near East University campus and received information about the ongoing mass production process.<\/p>\n

During the test drive, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Near East University, Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel accompanied Minister Olgun Amcao\u011flu. Following the test drive, Minister Amcao\u011flu and the accompanying delegation also visited G\u00dcNSEL Production Facilities and received detailed information about G\u00dcNSEL’s mass production studies and the development process of the vehicle. Making a statement during the visit, Minister Amcao\u011flu emphasized that G\u00dcNSEL will give tremendous momentum to the TRNC.<\/p>\n

\nDefining G\u00dcNSEL as “a very important initiative that will accelerate the country”, Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcao\u011flu said, “I have never used an electric vehicle before. I didn’t expect its performance to be this strong. It is no different from the vehicles currently on the market. It is a very powerful vehicle in terms of performance, equipment and comfort.\u201d Saying, \u201cA vehicle has been developed to meet the needs of users with every feature\u201d, Minister Amcao\u011flu expressed his gratitude; \u201cI congratulate everyone who contributed to this important initiative that will accelerate the country\u201d.<\/p>\n

After the test drive, Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel thanked the Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcao\u011flu for his visit to G\u00dcNSEL. Prof. Dr. \u0130rfan Suat G\u00fcnsel said that they continue to work hard for mass production preparations with full force and said that G\u00dcNSEL will appear on the world’s roads as a car produced in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
