- Responsibilities
- Evaluating purchasing requests from relevant units and procuring them from approved suppliers
- To research alternative domestic and international suppliers in terms of goods and services for efficiency.
- Providing the requested goods and services in the desired quality and at the most affordable price
- Determining target prices for the products to be supplied and negotiating with suppliers in line with the target prices
- Submitting detailed price reports to the team leader for supplier selection
- Conducting negotiations and developing relationships with both domestic and international suppliers
- Opening purchase orders, preparing documents, tracking and checking invoices
- Monitoring the cargo and logistics processes of the product
- Keeping track of stock depending on the warehouse department
- All paperwork etc. storing copies electronically
- Ensuring that products are delivered on time and the quality of goods received is satisfactory
- Negotiating price, shipping method and delivery time with contractors
- Ordering goods regularly to maintain certain inventory levels
- Regular follow-up of payments with working banks
- Conducting performance evaluation of the supplier to decide whether to continue with the supplier or not
- Control and follow-up of agreements with suppliers
- Submitting weekly purchasing reports to the team leader
- Providing necessary documents and information for logistics processes
- Qualifications and skills required
- Ability to conduct market research and analysis, finding and contacting new suppliers
- Experience in arranging cargo services and preparing customs documentation (import/export)
- Experience in preparing RFQ /contracts, sending orders, controlling, and tracking all deadlines
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good team player
- Ability to travel internationally
- Ability to reside in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus
